Quite frankly I’m done with the media scaremongering surrounding the coronavirus so instead I’d like to talk about anything else!
UK travels, rain and sunshine, Malta memories and good times. My Summer has been jam-packed! So much has happened since my last blog back in July.
Since tackling Ben Nevis back in April this year, Jake and I had been wanting to tackle other hikes across the UK. This time we challenged ourselves to Snowdon.
I’d be surprised if you told me you’d never once flown with RyanAir. With their cheap and regular flights it’s so easy to book with the airline and save your pennies, or so it seems.
3 words to describe our time in Lloret de Mar; sunbathing, pub crawls and paella! A few months ago for my birthday Jake suggested going away for a weekend, we’re always so busy so the only time we found to go on our jollies was this weekend just gone.
After all the rain we’ve been having in the UK we definitely needed some sunshine, especially seen as we’re nearly in July and summer time should have well and truly started by now!
It’s been a long time since I’ve laughed like I have done this weekend. Jake and I went camping with a group of friends at Burns Farm Campsite in Keswick for a couple of nights and we had the best weekend, despite the constant rainfall and overnight wind.
I solemnly swear I am up to no good! One of the best weekends I’ve ever had. I love London and I love Harry Potter so combine that in to one weekend and you’re on to a winner!
So much of who we are is where we have been. That quote is so true for me. Back in August 2017 Jake and I made the decision to leave Adlington for a warmer climate and move abroad.
If you haven’t yet visited Scotland, you really need to. Jake and I decided (or should I say Jake had no choice) to take a trip up to Scotland last weekend. I’d found a camp site online located in Glen Nevis which looked amazing and only cost us £50 for two nights camping so I decided a few weeks ago just to book it and organise the rest of the details later.
